Today is the final day of our spring campaign - Three Years of Wonder.

So far, you’ve helped us raise nearly $4,000. Every gift came from someone who believes Greater Boston kids deserve a professional theater of their own, and we feel that every single time another donation comes in.

We’re not done yet. Every gift before midnight tonight is part of what we’ll carry into year four.

$36 welcomes one kid to the theater, $180 supports a classroom’s pre-show learning

Whatever feels right, every gift moves us forward

Three years in. So much still to come.

Boston Public School Teacher -

“In order to understand content, my students need something called 'pre-teaching.' They need to be explicitly taught the concepts that will be present in a learning experience before that experience takes place.

The pre-show workshop was a wonderful opportunity for my students to learn about the plot, characters, and setting of the show. They also learned about the themes that would take place in the story. As a result, my students were better able to comprehend the show.

Throughout the performance, my students were so engaged. Seeing the pure wonder and amazement on their faces throughout the performance meant so much to me. The staff at the theater were so accommodating. They helped support smooth transitions for my students and ensured that all of our accessibility needs were being met.

This is the type of programming that highlights the inclusivity and celebration of differences that takes place in Boston.”

We build our programs this way on purpose. Every kid in the room. Not just present authentically included.

Your spring campaign gift supports the whole experience: pre-show workshops in classrooms, transportation, accommodations for students with different needs, and a performance made at the highest standard we know how .

Thank you for making this possible. Link to support our work in the first comment.

People ask us all the time: what actually goes into one of your shows?

For Library Lion, it was months of rehearsals, puppet-building, original music scored and played live, a full design team, pre-show workshops in every participating classroom, and transportation coordinated for thousands of students - so every kid could get to the theater without their family needing to pay.

We make work that's live, artistically daring, and made for the whole child. And we make sure every kid can be in the room.

Your support makes that possible.

Every part of it. Link for support in the first comment.

Our spring campaign is live, and we're so grateful to everyone who's made these first three years possible.

🎭Three years ago we started Adam Theater with a simple idea: that kids deserve professional theater made for them, and that every child in Greater Boston should be able to come see it, regardless of what their family can afford.

This winter, 2,500 Greater Boston School students came to see Library Lion at the Calderwood, for free. By the end, they were on their feet, singing along with the cast. For most of them, it was their first time inside a theater.

Three years in, it's working.

But our work has just begun. If you've been with us on this journey, thank you. If you'd like to help us keep going, we'd be honored
