You are invited to attend The Greater Roxbury Book Fair, May 16th at the Shaw-Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library. I am proud of Erik Casimiro Rodriguez, (one of my young published authors) will be conducting a Storywalk at 11:00 am and reading from his book, Eternity's Journey: The Magical Necklace.

The Greater Roxbury Book Fair is one of Roxbury’s most anticipated community events, celebrating the power of literature, culture, and shared storytelling. Launched in 2022, this full-day festival features author panels, interactive workshops, literary exhibitions, and the dynamic Savor the Square open-air marketplace, uplifting BIPOC micro-entrepreneurs, authors, and artists from across our community, and beyond. All Greater Roxbury Book Fair activities are free to attend.

We are excited to announce the "Hibernian Hall Summer Book Contest," which Hibernian Hall organized in association with Valerie Foxx. A published author and lifelong friend of the organization.

This contest offers a great opportunity for young, aspiring authors aged 6 to 17 in our community to demonstrate their creativity and writing abilities. Apply Today: Deadline: Submit your essay by Friday, August 30, 2024, at 7 p.m.
