The wait is finally over—The Big Gig kicks off tomorrow at the 🎸🤘

We have teamed up with to bring you our biggest spring event yet, and the vendor lineup is absolutely massive. We’re taking over Garage B, the Annex, and the outdoor courtyard with over 100 local makers, artists, and vintage curators. From handmade ceramics and sterling silver jewelry to Y2K fashion and one-of-a-kind fine art, there is quite literally something for everyone.

This isn’t just a market; it’s a full-on festival. You can sip on a lager while browsing the stalls, grab lunch from a fleet of local food trucks, and catch 10 different indie acts performing live throughout the weekend. Plus, don’t forget to swing by the Experience Room to see the magic of live tintype photography with !

Traveling all the way from Maine, tintypist Troy R. Bennett is bringing a historic portrait pop-up to the Experience Room for both days of The Big Gig. This isn’t your average digital snap; Troy specializes in the authentic wet plate collodion process—a photographic method first invented in 1851.

The experience is just as mesmerizing as the final product. You can actually watch your heirloom-quality image develop right before your eyes, transforming a silver-clad plate into a stunning, one-of-a-kind portrait. Because of the chemistry and craftsmanship involved, these tintypes are built to survive for generations, making them the ultimate souvenir for our first-ever Spring music festival.

Summoning all the dolls, kings, and q***r icons! We’re gearing up for The Big Gay Bazaar on June 11th, and the we’re looking for LGBTQ+ performers to serve, slay, and take center stage at the .

Whether you’re a Drag Mother with a legacy, a musician with the bops, or a dancer who leaves it all on the floor, we have a spot for you to shine. We’re offering 30-minute sets every hour on the hour from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and we’re making sure our talent is taken care of. You’ll get base pay plus tips, a full PA system, and a professional sound tech to make sure you sound as good as you look.

It’s time to show the Speedway exactly what Pride in Boston is all about. No gatekeeping here—if you’ve got the charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, we want you on the roster!
