Kudos to Ensemble Chaconne (Peter H. Bloom, Carol Lewis, Chris Henriksen) and manager Rebecca DeLamotte for a fabulous tour in GA, NC and SC last week. The group celebrated baroque masters with Friends of Music at St Catherine's in Marietta (see photo) and with Bach Ascending in Savannah, Chase Concert Series in Augusta, and University of North Carolina Pembroke, among others. What a treat to be with Ensemble Aubade (Peter H. Bloom, Frank Grimes, and Steve Sussman) on their latest tour in Maryland; among the highlights - concerts in the stunning Hotchkiss Recital Hall at Washington College, and the lovely Catonsville Concerts at 3 series.
