Many have been inquiring about ways to keep your little ones entertained while learning during quarantine. Here is a way to practice color & number recognition, along with counting. .
- Big construction paper for Numbers Board - Popsicle sticks - Markers/crayons/paint to color them
- First go over the numbers to ensure they can recognize each number
-Then simply ask them to put a number of colored stick on the number. . * Example: - put 3 green sticks on the number 3.
- Put 2 pink on the number 2
P.S feel free to award them with a small snacks for encouragement such as fruit snacks, apples etc

It’s normal for us parents to feel paranoid about germs with your little ones, especially recently! As most have yet to build their immunity it’s impossible to shield them from all the bugs But, We’ve created a few tips and tricks for you to help avoid our kiddos from those bad bugs. 🚫😷.
1) keep baby close to you! Their safer in your hands, but if not, ask others to wash their hands before contact. 🧼
2) be smarter about sterilizing! For those new pacifiers or bottles, throw them in some boiling water just in case! 🍼
3) throw out unfinished milk or formula! 🗑 whether you feed or breast feed, bacteria from a baby’s saliva can backwash and cause contamination. 🤢
4) take precautions when it comes to pets. As our furry friends are family, their mouths are filled with germs that can cause to illness. 🐾
5) lastly, stay clear of crowded places. As fun as amusement parks, parades etc are. Just until our babies immune system builds, it’s a good idea to limit where you take your baby. 🎡
. We hope this short list helps! We’re open to provide more tips and tricks. Just comment below! 👇🏽.

Boob Morning! ☀️ Let’s talk about Breast Feeding and a common side affect when nursing!🤱🏽 Nipples are already a sensitive area for most women, and after three hours of non-stop nursing, nipples can feel downright raw. While pain can be due to a bad latch, in the beginning, it can be just as likely that you need to get used to nursing.
Your own breast milk is the best remedy, next, rubbing purified lanolin onto your nipples after each nursing session can help prevent chafing and excessive dryness. The tannins in tea are also great for healing--for blisters and cracks, a teabag makes an excellent warm compress.
. Our lactation educator is here to provide their professional service during our Breast Feeding Social “The Big Latch On”
Who can relate ? 😩😂
New parents sometimes feel apprehensive about bathing their tiny new babies. Have no fear, we’ve created a few tips to make bath time a breeze: 🛀 🧼 🐥
1. Use a Sponge 🧽
2. Timing is everything ⏰ Try bathing them when they’re well rested and not hungry
3. Go Tear-Free 💧 we LOVE The Honest Company Hello Bello Babyology California Baby but feel free to use any other brands that helps during this gentle process
4. Save shampooing for last! 🧴
5. Gather your supplies! 🧴 🧺 before starting, gather supplies and make sure the bottles are open. (It makes it easier)
6. Use a bath mat! This helps keeps your slippery sweetie from moving.
7. Temp check! 🌡 Their skin is sensitive, so ensuring the water is nice and warm and not too hot is important.
8. Lastly, go tropical ☀️ cranking up the heat outside the bathroom is helpful when taking them out. It keeps them warm during every process including when done.
Who’s expecting in 2020? 🤰🏽🤰🏼 🤰🏾🤰🏻🤰🏿
Let’s make a promise to each other for the new year! Let’s promise to take time for ourselves and work on not losing ourselves as mums! Let’s practice self care and be fully present! Sometimes as parents we tend to give our children our all, and that’s absolutely OK sometimes even necessary! But we also don’t want to neglect ourselves in the process because in reality, our children deserve to have us happy, whole and present! For those mums and dads, and future parents, this toast is for you! Cheers!!
(A bit late) But, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! From the Party Nest Team! We’re so excited for the new year and what we have stored. From new locations, to new educators and events and more!
We hope your holidays were filled with love and you enter the new year with positivity. 💫 🧡
Won’t stop don’t stop. Haha, happy Friday! How long did you breastfeed for? (If you did) if you didn’t , that’s ok too! How long did your little one feed off a bottle?
