New Year, New Bullet Journal

Happy New Year ✨ 🎉 Wishing you and your loved ones health and happiness in 2022 🎉

I'm starting off year 3 of bullet journaling for myself. Daily journaling has been such a great tool for me, especially helping me process my thoughts and stay organized through the pandemic.

5 tips to start journaling in 2022:

1. Start simple - that's the key when trying to incorporate any new habits. As James Clear says in his book Atomic Habits, 1% change everyday.
2. Journaling does not *have* to be fancy and artistic. As pretty as they look, planning layouts can get overwhelming.
3. If it helps, stick to simple, easy, minimal layouts.
4. It's okay to skip a few days, no one is perfect.
5. Journaling is a personal practice, there's no right or wrong. Take inspiration, mix and match whatever works best for YOU.

Happy November! November is my favorite month of the year which is why this is the most fitting for my account.
Here's a minimal monthly cover for bullet journal. To me, the point of making these simple doodles for bujo is to make my daily journaling practice fun but also keep its easy to keep up with.

Of course, if super artistic, aesthetically perfect bullet journal layouts are your thing, then by all means carry on because that's wonderful.

But for those like me who think that being creative is not their strongest suit, whose busy schedule and limited artistic abilities makes it really challenging to keep up with fancy layouts and themes for daily bullet journaling, I totally understand. I try to keep it simple and sustainable to suit my temperament. This is a very important point for beginners. If the goal is to make journaling a daily habit, it is more important to stay consistent in writing into the journal than worrying about covers and layouts.

Love is a Frequency ❤️✨

❤️Love doesn't always mean a relationship or connection with another being.
❤️It is a vibrational frequency at which we feel "Love".
❤️Many of us have experienced this frequency in those moments where we feel happy or blissful for no particular reason, everything around us softens, there's a warm fuzzy, a feeling of light glowing in our heart,
everything around us feels just right, everything seems possible.
❤️Most commonly we experience this feel from a relationship - romantic or otherwise which is why love is most commonly associated with certain people or beings closest to us.
❤️Some consider 528 Hz to be the love frequency. Tons of good music with 528 Hz can be found on various streaming platforms.

Do New Year Resolutions work? I had a eureka moment this morning. 💡✨💫Sharing my thoughts for perspective-
2021 isn't magically going to solve all our problems! Just like all the past new years haven't magically transformed our bodies, our mind or our life in general. We have to put in the work and take accountability of our actions to get where we aim to.
These few days leading up to the New Year are a valuable time for us to take stock of our VISION for the next year - our hopes, dreams, goals, priorities!
We can Make it happen, it all begins with taking ownership 💪🙏👏

Interrupting your perfectly curated IG feed with a burst of colors 🌈💙💛💚💜❤️
Spent the rainy afternoon playing with my watercolors with no specific plan in mind but i think it turned out cute 😍

I've had hectic past few weeks so i wanted to do something fun and relaxing for my mental health. I busted out the old dusty watercolor palette and the sketchbook after a LONG time to throw some color around for fun. I had no intention of making it presentable for the gram or anything just wanted a therapeutic outlet for myself.

But after a few random circles the idea shaped itself and my stress flew away like beautiful light airy bubbles. Voila, inspiration 🤓 Sometimes you've got to just have fun, right?! 🤣🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️

Isn't that what art is all about?... having fun and letting go (sometimes anyway)..and if you're tuned in enough, an inspiration clicks 😍👏🙌

Hmm, idk Maybe not, 🤔 either way - Enjoy some colors🌈✨
