This painting depicts the realities of life as ordained upon 'Muniya', this girl child, and many more so, in the developing countries.

She grows hope, aspires and builds dreams, desiring to fly free like a bird, but only to fail.....

She again amasses courage to grow such wings but only to be betrayed again by destiny...

And the saga continues, the wings failing her each time.

Well apparently the wings are made of paper and too fragile to endure the realities of life!

Yet the endeavour continues for she has faith - one day she shall be set free!

For it all is then a matter of faith, and endeavour, and free one shall be!
