This past Saturday, ๐๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ค๐จ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ (๐๐ฆ๐ง๐) brought the Mission Hill Arts Festival to life with a vibrant and deeply engaging presentation, โ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐,โ centered on the communal traditions of โ๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ขโ music and dance from Puerto Rico.

HSTFโs musicianship and movement conveyed both the richness of Puerto Rican cultural traditions and t๐ต๐ฒ ๐ท๐ผ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐น๐.
๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ offered audiences far more than a performance. It shaped ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ถ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐
๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ when audience members were invited to participate directly, learning ways to engage with the drums while exploring folkloric rhythms and expressive dance movements.
๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โs presentation demonstrated how music and dance can serve as powerful vehicles for preserving heritage, building community, and encouraging people to express themselves with intention, openness, and joy.
