Congratulations to Tamayia Jarvis, Ben Moss, and MC Carpenter for earning recognition at the American College Theatre Festival Region VI Conference in Abilene, Texas!

Tamayia Jarvis received one of the region’s prestigious B.O.L.D. Scholarships, while Ben Moss and MC Carpenter were selected as alternates for the Irene Ryan Scholarship semi-finals—placing their acting team among the top competitors in the five-state region.

Today’s the day!! We're holding combined auditions for 'Goldi Locks and the Three Heberts' and 'A Year with Frog and Toad' tonight at 6:30 in the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre. Auditions are open to students and community members ages 17 and older.

Auditionees may audition for one or both productions and should expect to read from the script, move on stage, sing in groups, and possibly improvise. Prepared material is welcome but not required, except for returning BPCC Theatre students, who must present a 45-second monologue. Please wear comfortable attire and arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the audition form. Headshots and résumés are encouraged if available.

We're excited to announce combined auditions for our upcoming productions of 'Goldi Locks and the Three Heberts' and 'A Year with Frog and Toad'. Auditions will be held this Wednesday, January 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre on the BPCC campus (6220 East Texas Street, Bossier City). Both productions offer a range of lead and supporting roles, with some roles requiring limited singing. Auditionees may choose to audition for one or both shows.

Those auditioning should expect to read from the script, move about the stage, sing in groups, and may be asked to improvise. Prepared monologues and songs are welcome but not required, except for returning BPCC Theatre students, who must present a 45-second monologue. If presenting a prepared song, please bring sheet music or a track.

Auditions are open to BPCC students and community members ages 17 and older. Comfortable attire is recommended. Participants should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete the audition form and are encouraged to bring a headshot and résumé if available.

We look forward to welcoming new and returning performers to the stage as we prepare for an exciting season of BPCC Theatre.

The cast and crew has worked really hard and it’s time to bid them “break a leg” for opening night!

Performances will be held October 3–12, 2025, in the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre (Building C – Bossier Campus) at 7:30 p.m. on October 3, 4, 10, and 11, and at 2:00 p.m. on October 5 and 12.

The ensemble cast of BPCC students, joined by a few community actors, will portray all 42 characters. Cast members include Colby Garrett, Mike Elmore, Gabriel Dunn, Logan Pudak, Tre Bushnell, Kelsea Lee, Chaz Hudson, Andrew Thrasher, Tamayia Jarvis, Ellen Douglas, MC Carpenter, Jason Prothro, Ben Moss, Aubre Shillings, Blaine Fultz, Joslyn Buzzanca, Rocket Loam, River Storm and Eliza Megee.

Student production crew members are Julia Parr, stage manager; Valtia Palmer, assistant stage manager and props assistant; Khameece McCullough, sound operator; and tech crew members Peyton Nichols, Eden Kalmasy and Kelcy Hammonds.
