✨ About the Artist ✨
Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce myself for those who are new here. My name is Chyenne — I’m a proud wife, a mother of two 💙🩷, and together with my husband we serve our community through our small engine repair shop. I’m also on the journey of becoming a licensed esthetician, set to graduate in May 2026.
My art journey began in 2020 during the COVID shutdown. After a traumatic accident that left me with two herniated discs in my lower back, I had to step away from the active lifestyle as an athlete. In that difficult season, I discovered an artist from Australia 🇦🇺, Sheleeart, whose work in color therapy inspired and lifted me through grief and depression. Her videos lit a spark in me, and eventually I took her class to learn color theory, fluid art, and how to truly play with paint.
That spark turned into a passion. I found myself experimenting with abstract art, then expanding into creating unique pieces on blankets, pillows, curtains — even shoes! It amazed me how two hands and a little creativity could bring so much joy and optimism back into my life.
As a lifelong rockhound, I’ve always loved geodes and the beauty of nature. That love has found its way into my art, leading me to create ocean scenes, sparkling geodes, and textured abstract pieces that reflect both the calmness of water and the brilliance of stone. My goal is to bring a little sparkle and serenity into people’s lives, whether through the memory of a favorite beach or the shine of a crystal-inspired artwork.
Now, I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned. I plan to start teaching classes to help others discover the healing power of creativity — whether it’s to ease the stress of a long day or to work through deeper grief, just as color therapy once helped me.
I’m so grateful for your support, your inspiration, and the stories we share together. This journey has been one of healing, hope, and connection, and I can’t wait to continue creating and growing with you all. 💙✨
