Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Team Lead for the VFX Generalists to join our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of VFX artists to create high-quality, real-time visual effects for video games, XR experiences, and other interactive applications. You will work across multiple areas of VFX production, including 3D modeling, animation, technical animation, and performance capture, and will be an expert in Unreal Engine and Maya.

Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of VFX artists to create high-quality visual effects for Film, Television, and interactive applications.
• Create and lead others in creating stunning high-quality VFX and animations using industry-standard software such as Maya, Houdini, Unreal, and others.
* Collaborate with designers, producers and TDs ensure that VFX meet project specifications and deadlines.
* Develop and implement VFX for XR stages using Unreal Engine and other cutting-edge software and tools.
* Create and lead others in creating complex shaders and textures to surfaces.
* Participate in motion capture sessions as needed.
* Troubleshoot and debug technical issues related to VFX production and real time work flow for XR stage.

* Lead the development of new VFX pipelines and workflows to improve production efficiency and quality.
* Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new VFX artists.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or Certification in a related field.
* At least 7 years of experience in VFX production.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Strong proficiency in VFX software such as Maya, Houdini, Motion Builder and Unreal Engine.
* Expert Proficiency in Unreal engine, Certification preferred.
* Strong understanding of topology, UV mapping, and texturing.
* Expert knowledge in rigging and animation principles.
* Expert Knowledge with motion capture technology and techniques.
* Experience with XR stage technologies, such as mixed reality, virtual reality, or augmented reality.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work well with other members of the production team.
