RESPECT LOCAL BUSINESSES. RESPECT OUR COMMUNITY.

I’ve had a debate with myself about whether to post this, but sometimes things need to be said.

The disrespect that some people (CLUB) show toward local businesses is unacceptable. As someone who has been in business for 13 years, I have recently had several instances that issues like this have come up, and I believe it’s time to speak up.

We are a privately owned business that supports local activities, community events, bike events, benefits, and fundraisers that help people throughout our town.

Running a business takes hard work, dedication, time, and sacrifice. Small business owners put their hearts into what they do, and we deserve the same basic respect and consideration that we show others.

You don’t have to agree with everyone, but disrespect should never be the answer. There is a right way to address concerns, and treating local businesses poorly is not it.

Before judging or criticizing a business, remember that real people are behind it—people who work hard, invest in their community, and care about the town they call home.

Supporting a community means respecting the people and businesses that help keep it going. Let’s treat one another with respect, kindness, and accountability.
