I’ll be at the STHS Parenting Center this Thursday! 💕

Fall is fast approaching, with hopefully cooler weather as well. We have so many fun activities planned for the month of September, we want to make sure you don't miss any of them.

Some of our highlights -

*Nature on the Geaux will be here with their exotic animals to learn about and touch/pet on Thursday, September 3.

* Walking with the Angels Event on Saturday, September 19th from 9-11a to honor those who have experienced loss of a child or infant.

*Field trip to Mrs. Heathers Pumpkin Patch on Friday, September 25 at 10am (this is a member favorite, year after year)

*National Car Seat Check Day to be held at the Parenting Center/Kids Konnection Park on Saturday, September 19. This is a great opportunity to make sure that your car seats are in tight enough.

*Storytime with the Library Lady on Monday, September 28 at 10:30 am.

*Pet CPR will be held at the St. Tammany Hospital on Wednesday, September 30 at 6p to teach the important skills of CPR & Choking to help save our family pets.

It’s not finished yet but I’m making headway on the redfoot tortoise pen. I need more hiding areas and plants but it’s been a chore finding stuff that is safe for them to eat but not demolish lol

A very sweet family donated this tank to us & some much needed reptile supplies 💕 Thank you so much!

This is going to be Dude’s, our carpet python, new habitat. I can’t wait to turn this into a fun bioactive!

(Don’t mind Loki’s habitat at the bottom in the reflection. I’m in the middle of an enclosure redo for him so he’s got minimal stuff in there for now.)

Just dropping in to say thank you for being a part of my small business!

He’s still up for adoption btw but you have to have outdoor areas ready for him to be contained appropriately & answer questions that I may have after you fill out the adoption application.

A small alligator trying to take a nap today while I was at City Park. 💕 Between me taking pictures & the turtles in the water next to the gator trying to vie for my attention in hopes I had food, I don’t know how they kept dozing off 😂
