Its time for me to make changes is my life. I have been a Cannabis Activist for 24 years filming the cannabis movement, the money ran out of the Cannabis Industry and now being an activist really doesnt pay the bills.
I have had life changing surgery and has given me time to think about my future. I have an awesome archive of video, photos, handbills, magazines, event programs from the last 24yrs. I am starting to work with the archive digitizing the first 10yrs from digital tape to hard drive.
The project I am picking to work on is a Series about Mendocino County's Cannabis Industry. From its high points to its low points. I have lived here in Mendocino county now fer about 20 yrs or so. I have watched the State and the County destroy an old underground market that has kept the county above water since logging industry died. Now the legal Market that the County and State built is failing and the Underground market is still stronger than legal but not by much. This is a long story that needs to be told, not just for Mendocino County but for the rest of the Industry across the USA. If it could happen here it could happen in yer county.
