Hey everyone! I am greatly overwhelmed by the support and all the love you have shown these past few days! I am writing you now to remind you and clear up that as stated in the announcement, I was the one who made the decision to close the Canvas Clash. We were not shutdown. We are working to see if maybe someone may be interested in continuing the establishment but there is honestly no guarantees of that. Unfortunately some folks did not see what we did as a business as a positive impact on the community. We have helped to bring many folks into Boonton and discover how wonderful of a town it truly is! The other businesses especially the food eateries have benefited quite greatly from your patronage to them when you come to an event we host. I ask that you continue to patronage the businesses in Boonton. They are incredible hard working people who support their community and need your support as well! I need everyone to be and stay positive. When you come to our place over the next month you must all be respectful, you are a representation of Canvas Clash, the bands and every venue around the state. We want you to Lead by example and show that music and live events are a benefit to any community. I am sorry that I had to make this decision but I found it in the best interest of all parties involved.

**OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**
It is with a heavy heart to announce that we will be closing the Canvas Clash as of August 24th. As anyone may know running a business is no easy task, we have poured our blood, sweat and tears into this place. We have been blessed to be open for over 2 years and have met so many incredibly people who we now consider our friends and family. Unfortunately due to issues brought up by a few town officials we have found it in the best interest of everyone involved that we close our doors. I personally apologize to all of you who have come to call Canvas Clash your home, this is the last thing I would have wanted to have happen but I do not have the means to keep open with the pressure that has been pressed upon me and the business. Please continue to support small businesses and get involved in your community. Your voice can be heard when you speak up and the actions you make by writing, voting, and volunteering! I know we have made an impact on our community and provided people with a place that they called a home. We need you to take that torch and continue it forward with the actions that you make every day and getting involved in the community that you call your own. Please continue to support Boonton’s Main St and all the businesses that reside on it.
