Casablanca is a 1942 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Curtiz and based on Murray Burnett and Joan Alison's unproduced stage play Everybody Comes to Rick's. The film stars Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid; it features Claude Rains, Conrad Veidt, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, and Dooley Wilson. Set during World War II, it focuses on an American expatriate who must choose between his love for a woman and helping her Czech Resistance leader husband escape the Vichy-controlled Moroccan city of Casablanca to continue his fight against the N***s.

Friday October 31st, the town of Boonton NJ celebrates Halloween and the return of its Zombie Walk!

Come enjoy Halloween at the restaurants, galleries and boutiques ofBoonton Main Street and for $10 wristbands, sold at the historic Darress Theatre (widely considered the most haunted theatre in Jersey ), see either 'Night of the Living Dead' at 8:30 or Troma Entertainment's 'Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead' (R rated - 17 or older) at 7:00 and only an additional $5 to see both.

The wristband will also provide:

$5 off the cover at Maxfield's on Main (otherwise $10) for their live musical happy-hour entertainment - never a cover for its lounge. Enjoy all-night drink specials and a free platter of poultrygeist wings.

The Darress Theatre - 615 Main Street - Boonton rounds out Halloween weekend with a Magic Show featuring the renowned Magician Michael Healy.

The date is November 1, 2014. There will be two performances - one at 2PM and the other at 7PM.

On August 1, 2014, the Darress Theatre will host a walking tour of the Boonton filming sites of the slapstick horror classic The Toxic Avenger. After the walking tour, the film will be shown at the Darress Theatre. Dress for walking.
