This past First Friday was a joyous occasion!

Huge thanks to our incredible guests, artists, and performers:

Adam Walls () & Dale McEntire () for joining us on a tour of the Campus Arts Corridor

Chanel Stone () & Dr. Linda Strong Leek for leading an ARTtalk on "belonging to place," as well as all the exhibiting artists who attended.

Glenis Redmond () & Lauren D. Cunningham () for amazing performances in Gallery A.

Beacon of Sound (.of.sound) for setting the mood on the TCVA plaza.

We are grateful for everyone who came out to share the night with us!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting a group from the Southeastern Museums Conference () at the Turchin Center in Boone.

Attendees drove up from Winston-Salem to tour museums in the region including the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum () and Hickory Museum of Art ().

During their stop at TCVA, our staff guided the group through the galleries, and guests picked out a piece of art to take home from our Art-o-mat ().

It’s always an honor to share our space with fellow museum professionals. Thanks for stopping by!
