This year’s Let There Be Lips is going to be a little different — and, we think, a little more meaningful.
With the loss of Tim Curry, along with so many other incredible entertainers who have left our earthly plane over the past year, we wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate the people whose talent, characters, music, and performances have brought so much joy to all of us.
Our amazing cast has accepted a very special challenge: to transform their assigned Rocky Horror characters into iconic Tim Curry roles. Each character has been carefully paired with a role from Tim’s incredible career, giving us the chance to celebrate the many different sides of an actor who meant so much to so many people.
And we aren't stopping there.
During the floor show, our characters will transform once again, this time paying tribute to the one and only Dolly Parton. Our Transylvanians have also accepted the challenge of stepping beyond their usual roles and becoming other beloved celebrities we have lost over the past year.
This isn't simply about recreating characters. It's about remembering, celebrating, laughing, creating, and keeping the work of these incredible performers alive.
We are incredibly excited to bring this special tribute to Boone, and we hope you'll choose to be part of it with us.
And please stay after the credits. We have a very special tribute video created by Ellie from the UK, known on YouTube as Dollmation. We are honored to share her tribute with our audience, so be sure to give her a follow.
LET THERE BE LIPS 2026 - Boone, Iowa RHPS - Tribute Edition is on November 6 & 7, 2026 at Boone Theater — 818 Story St. Boone, IA 50036. Tickets are available now. Link will be posted in the comments below.
Come celebrate the legends with us. Come dressed up. Come have fun. Come sing, dance, laugh, and maybe shed a tear. Most of all, come help us celebrate the people who gave us something worth remembering.
See you soon!
