Several years ago, I had started a journey to expand into my services and products for Dar's Beauty Bar (my salon). Beauty goes far beyond our external. I started providing energy healing services, lash services etc. I started to bring in more Beauty products. I was remodeling and bringing in displays to bring something more into the retail area. However life happened and everything took a long pause. The plans paused. The crystal jewelry I created, paused. The new services, paused. My creative flow overall PAUSED. I have finally pressed the PLAY button but with much needed adjustments and on slow-mo. I no longer have 2 kiddos, I now have 4 and half are autistic along with other things. My priority has been my boys but how I miss my salon. So with all the things I'm picking back up where I left off with those adjustments and doing some work from home things and pulling them into the shop gradually. I will be posting what I have available but doesn't mean it's limited to my locals! Retail... the jewelry is available for shipping (additional cost) nationwide!
Thank you EVERYONE who has came along not only on my biz journey but LIFE. So many of you have seen my boys grow up. Have cried with me. Have shared your lives also with me. Hace unos años, inicié un camino para ampliar los servicios y productos de Dar's Beauty Bar (mi salón). La belleza va mucho más allá de lo externo. Empecé a ofrecer servicios de sanación energética, tratamientos de pestañas, etc., y a incorporar más productos de belleza. Estaba remodelando y colocando expositores para enriquecer el área de venta al público. Sin embargo, surgieron imprevistos y todo quedó en pausa. Los planes se detuvieron. La joyería con cristales que creaba, en pausa. Los nuevos servicios, en pausa. Mi flujo creativo en general se DETUVO. Por fin he pulsado el botón de "reproducir", aunque a cámara lenta y con ajustes muy necesarios. Ya no tengo dos hijos, ahora tengo cuatro; la mitad de ellos son autistas, entre otras condiciones. Mi prioridad han sido mis niños, pero cuánto extraño mi salón. Así que estoy retomando las cosas donde las dejé —con esos ajustes—, trabajando desde casa e incorporando gradualmente todo al local. Iré publicando lo que tengo disponible, ¡pero eso no significa que sea solo para quienes viven cerca! En cuanto a la venta de productos... ¡la joyería está disponible para envíos a todo el país (con costo adicional)! Gracias a TODOS los que me han acompañado no solo en mi trayectoria empresarial, sino también en la vida. Muchos de ustedes han visto crecer a mis hijos, han llorado conmigo y han compartido sus vidas conmigo. Me siento eternamente bendecida por todos ustedes. Another Korean inspired lash lift and tint for the win! Perfect low maintenance lash service, while still giving you that oomph you desire and need, lasting easily 6-8 weeks. Don't get me wrong, I love eyelash extensions but as a busy mom of 4 with a tight budget and still wanting to treat myself, while feeling better about myself, I GET IT! Or maybe extensions made it hard not to feel the need to pick off when anxiety kicks in... no worries! Lifts and tints are your natural lashes without anything attached to them.

Did you know I provide hairstyling and makeup services outside of the salon and at very competitive prices? I love being part of your special day but also understand how stressful it can be. I try to make the process as easy for you as possible. At the moment, I do not require contracts, the services are at a set price whether you're the star of the show, the mom or even a guest. I cover a wide variety of cities/towns without an additional cost to you AND take card payments! I also offer "trials" at a discount... it's our "play time"! BTW I will even stick around for a bit and happy to help adjust, fix or even strap your heels for you as you get dressed. I usually leave when I know you are ready as can be!

Why have I chosen to provide Korean inspired lash lifts at D.B.B?
They use a gentler, cysteamine-based formula with a specialized two-step shield technique to create a vertical, root-to-tip lift. VS regular (traditional) lifts use stronger Thioglycolic Acid (TGA) to create a more traditional curl. Korean lifts are often preferred for healthier, longer-lasting results compared to the typical of traditional methods. This method and formulation makes it a harder-to-overprocess alternative and great for sensitive clients.
As someone whom has tried both and can be very sensitive, I personally had great results and almost no irritability!

This system by LashBase is definitely more gentle and did not irritate the eyes at all when it came to the lifted system.
I still am using RefectoCil for the tinting and gets the job done!

Working on providing new services at Dar's Beauty Bar which means comes with a learning curve and growth. Here is the 2nd model for the korean lash lift and 1st brow lamination. next time we plan to use smaller lash shields to give us more curl and lift.

After 2 months, she's back! Last time she came in we did a color extraction followed by an isolation session and tone. We removed so much previous color while keeping her hair's integrity the best we could with the help of b3 bond builder.
Today she came in and we isolated her hair again to give us a little bit more lightness and a more even canvas, toned to the icy gods, added a purple shadow root and finally applied our direct color for an ash lavender tone. With Redken shades EQ, Guy Tang mydentity fantasy 5, and Danger Jones Creative burlesque, we conquered and achieved our goal

Hello everyone! I have a rough time remembering to post on the business page and will be working on doing better and getting back to it!
I want to share, I am going to be digging out the lash side of the business again, but going to give a new system a go! The industry is forever advancing and now available is a UV lash system. I have sat for several days doing research and debating if we keep it old school or advance into what's new, so here we go...
I will be working on mannequins again for a bit then will take on a few models. It has been a few years so I definitely need a refresher and the practice. The new system has been ORDERED!!
I have shared that mom life has not been easy especially with my oldest child's needs, then once I had baby #3 which has also now been diagnosed with autism and welp now expecting baby boy #4!! However I love what I do and I love my clients. While I considered going in a different direction as a career path, I am not ready. Being a cosmetologist was my childhood dream and I truly love what I do. It's all I ever wanted to do with my life! I am very thankful and blessed with all of you for sticking with me. 16+ years in the industry with ZERO regrets. Life sometimes just gets the best of us but it's time to refocus!
