Summer Slow Jams begin tomorrow at the Jones House. Participants of all ages and skill levels can come together to play oldtime and classic bluegrass tunes in a fun and inclusive setting, led by music teachers from the Boone JAM programs.

These slow jams will be held at the Jones House on select Thursdays in June, July, and August from 6:00-7:00 pm. These sessions are free and open to the public. Bring an acoustic string instrument and come prepared to make new friends!

The regularly held Thursday night oldtime jam will follow afterwards from 7:00-10:00 pm.

Summer Concerts at the Jones House start today!!

Join us every week for free live music in Downtown Boone, NC on the Jones House lawn. The popular concert series on the Jones House lawn runs weekly on Fridays from June through August. Showcasing local and regional acts, the lineup features a variety of musical genres that will appeal to all types of music fans - bluegrass, oldtime, jazz, folk, songwriters, and more.

Music begins at 5:30 PM. Concerts are free and open to the public, and they are held rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to enjoy the music from the lawn. Alcoholic beverages are permitted if patrons are of legal age, but no open containers are allowed beyond the Jones House property. Parking is free in downtown Boone metered spaces and lots after 5 PM.
