If your foundation double crochet circle always looks jagged or uneven… this is probably why. 👀

When joining foundation double crochet in the round, you need to join BOTH:✨ the top stitch✨ AND the base chain

Otherwise you end up with a gap at the base, or uneven edge.

This quick crochet tip will make your seamless starts look so much cleaner — especially for tops, sleeves, hats, and anything worked in the round. 🙌
