sharing a closer look at how we painted the nursery 🤍

we knew we wanted this room to feel soft, calming, and a little more unique than just a painted wall… so we decided to paint the ceiling and bring the color slightly down the walls with a trim detail to frame it out

seeing it go from an empty room to something that already feels so intentional has been such a special process 🥹

and the little note behind the trim might be my favorite part of all 🤍

the garden is really starting to do its thing and I’m honestly way too excited about it 😂🌿

I swear all of the rain we had over the weekend made everything double overnight! The cucumber is absolutely the star of the show, it’s absolutely thriving right now… flowers everywhere, growing fast, and ready for a trellis.

I’m keeping track of it all in my little journal and it feels very much like middle school science fair…but seeing this actually grow like this is the best feeling!

episode 1: painting the nursery 🤍

we’re starting with a blank room and slowly turning it into something that feels like us… soft, calm, and a little more thoughtful than just a painted wall

this was one of our biggest decisions for the space, and seeing it come together already feels like such a shift. we chose the color “Sage Brush” by

pins I saved this week… and honestly, I feel like they all tell the same story 🤍

lately I’ve been drawn to spaces that feel soft, layered, and a little lived-in
nothing too styled or overdone… just thoughtful details, warm tones, and pieces that make a space feel like home

from nursery ideas, to garden moments, to the small details that make everything feel finished… this is the direction I keep coming back to

saving all of these as we keep designing, building, and slowly pulling our home together
