We’re proud to share that our Mhorr gazelle herd has grown to nearly 20 animals this year! ❤️

Mhorr gazelles are critically endangered, making every new addition to the herd incredibly important. We’re proud to play a part in caring for this beautiful species and helping visitors learn more about wildlife conservation.

Part-Time Weekend Animal Care Specialist
📍 North Texas Safari Park | Bonham, TX

Do you have a passion for animals and don’t mind working hard? We’re looking for a dependable, motivated team member to help care for the amazing animals at North Texas Safari Park!

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Must be 18 years or older
✔️ Able to lift 50+ pounds
✔️ Must work weekends
✔️ Comfortable working outdoors in both the Texas heat and cold
✔️ Shows up on time and ready to work
✔️ Self-disciplined and able to stay busy without constant supervision
✔️ Reliable transportation

Responsibilities include:
🦒 Feeding animals and preparing diets
🦘 Cleaning and maintaining animal habitats
🐾 Monitoring animal health and behavior
🌿 Creating enrichment for the animals
🧹 Keeping the park clean and well-maintained
😊 Interacting with guests and providing excellent customer service
💪 Assisting with general animal care and park operations as needed

This is a physically demanding position, but it’s incredibly rewarding for someone who loves animals and enjoys working outdoors.
