As another dance season at Kasey Leigh Dance Studio comes to a close, my heart is so full of gratitude. 💙
Thank you to all of our incredible dancers, dance parents, student teachers, and teachers for making this recital and season such a success. Your hard work, dedication, support, and love for dance are what make our studio family so special.
A special thank you to my amazing teachers—Taylor, Emily, Amanda, Faith, and Alexis—for sharing your passion, talent, and commitment with our dancers all season long.
To MaKayla Nemmers, thank you for helping with front of house and for always being ready to put out the little fires that pop up during recital weekend!
Thank you to Kairsten Fatland and Jennifer Simonson for managing flower sales, and to Stephanie Terhune, Leah Peters, Kristien Dudley, and Lindsay Gardner for helping with tickets and keeping everything running smoothly.
A huge thank you to Chelsey Bogaards for handling dancer check-in and making sure everyone was where they needed to be.
Thank you to Heidi Rial, Alicia McInteer, and Brittany Hansen for helping with the pop-up shop and creating fab custom KLDS merch for our dance families.
A very special shoutout to Lisa Maas for running the ship backstage alongside Jill Anderson, Sarah Parks, and our incredible team of dance mom volunteers. Recital weekend would not be possible without your countless hours of work behind the scenes.
To my own parents and kids—thank you for your endless support, patience, encouragement, and love. You are my foundation, and I couldn’t do any of this without you.
It truly takes a village to make a season and recital come together, and I am beyond thankful for every person who played a part. Thank you for an unforgettable year. Now it’s time for a little rest before we do it all again! 💃✨

We are so excited for the Summerfest Parade tonight! 🎉

We wanted to share some important information provided by the Bondurant Men's Club:

🕕 Parade Start Time
The parade will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

📣 Parade Staging & Dancer Pick-Up

* Dancers should meet us at our float at 5:45 PM in the designated parking lot shown below.
* After the parade, dancers will ride the float to the new Community Center (the old fire station).
* Parents should pick up their dancer at the Community Center following the parade.
* Feel free to stay and enjoy the festivities—our competition dancers will be performing at the Depot after the parade!

⚾ Parking & Drop-Off Reminder
Due to home baseball and softball games, there will be no parade parking available in the primary south parking lot.

If you are dropping off parade participants, please use the middle lot entrance and follow the designated route on the staging map when exiting the parking lot.

We can’t wait to celebrate Summerfest with everyone! ☀️🎉💙

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Addison 🎓

Some dancers leave footprints on the stage. Others leave a lasting mark on the hearts of everyone around them. ❤️
As we celebrate this incredible senior, we’re reminded of just how much she has meant to our studio family. Her talent, work ethic, leadership, and kind heart have inspired dancers of all ages. As a student teacher, mentor, teammate, and friend, she always stepped up, gave back, and helped make our studio a better place.
As she heads to California to pursue her dance dreams, we couldn’t be more proud. While we’re excited to watch her soar, there will be a space in our studio that simply won’t be the same without her.
And we can’t say goodbye without thanking her amazing mom, Lisa, whose love, support, and dedication have been such a special part of our studio family. Together, they have given so much to our dancers and our community.
Thank you for the memories, the leadership, the countless hours, and the love. Your legacy will live on here long after graduation.
Go chase those dreams—we’ll be cheering you on from home. ✨🎓💙

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Remy 🎓
From tiny dance shoes to center stage moments✨
While Remy was only with us for one season, she instantly became part of our dance family. From day one, she fit right in, bringing an incredible work ethic, a fun sense of humor, and some absolutely amazing jumps that always had us cheering.
This year, we had the privilege of watching her shine—not just as a dancer, but as a teammate and friend. Her positive energy, dedication, and talent made a lasting impact on our team, and we’re so grateful she chose to spend her senior year with us.
Remy, thank you for the memories, the laughs, and the countless moments that made this season special. We are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you.
Congratulations, Remy ! Keep reaching for the stars and taking those big leaps—we know your future is bright. 💙✨
