It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved African Grey parrot, Echo. He won so many hearts since his arrival at our zoo in 2015.
Echo’s sparkling personality and comedic antics always brought a smile to our faces. He amazed us every day with his intelligent array of whistles and vocalizations that would carry throughout the dealership. A few of our favorites were “wanna buy a bird?,” “wanna buy a fish?,” “Echooo,” “goodbye,” his cute little toot sound, barking like a dog, baby gator sounds, & his silly bombs away sound effect.
Those of us that knew him best appreciated his sweet, loving nature. The deep trusting bonds that he shared with his favorite people will be forever treasured. ❤️
After receiving 24 hour loving care for the duration of his 14 week battle with an inoperable tumor, the heartbreaking decision was made for Echo to transition to the rainbow bridge.
Under the expert guidance of Dr. Wolfe, Echo spent his final moments held peacefully in Kersten’s arms feeling nothing but comfort & unconditional love.
Thank you to all that visited the zoo & helped enrich Echo’s life. He truly loved visiting with all of you. He was so very blessed to be cherished by so many.
We’d love if anyone would like to share any pictures & memories of Echo here. 🩶
