Another great day for BMS Choirs at the Strafford Large Ensemble Contest! Congrats to our 6th and 7th grade choirs for closing out our week with some more GOLD RATINGS!!!

Three new pieces of hardware have entered the choir room this year and we could not be more proud of all our singers💙💙💙💙

Congratulations to our 8th grade choir for earning a gold rating (the highest possible) at the Strafford Large Ensemble Contest today! They sang beautifully and should be so proud!!!!

Looking forward to our 6/7th grade choir performances tomorrow☺️ Stay tuned for that and wish them luck!

🌟 Monday Listener Spotlight: Kaylee Grose 🌟

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Kaylee Grose — an incredible music educator making a difference in Southwest Missouri! 🎶

Kaylee is the choir director at Bolivar Middle School, where she teaches both choir and general music, pouring energy and heart into her students every single day. She also co-directs the Children’s Chorus of Springfield alongside Krista Smith, working with singers ages 6–18 and helping shape the next generation of choral musicians.

A 2021 graduate of Missouri State University in Vocal Music Education, Kaylee is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and inspired to love music. 💛

And when she’s not teaching? You’ll find her singing with the Queen City Chorale, playing trombone, or performing with the Springfield Community Jazz Ensemble. Talk about versatility! 👏

Kaylee, we’re so grateful you’re part of The Choir Guys fam. Keep doing amazing things!
