As I thought about more towns to draw, Bolingbrook stood out as a community with plenty to celebrate. Its parks, gathering places, and everyday life gave me a starting point for a mug that residents could recognize as their own.

I researched the local details, drew them individually, and brought them together in a wraparound design. Wholey Granoly became a local home for the finished mug, making it easy for neighbors to discover and share a keepsake of Bolingbrook.

It has been lovely to see the mug become a hometown gift and to celebrate the community through a local shop.

When we set out to create The Bolingbrook Mug our aspiration was to make the BEST quality mug with ALL your favourite features for everyday use!

-A mug FULLY WRAPPED with artwork of the area, Ashley Ann’s detailed hand drawings of iconic Bolingbrook images fully engulf all angles, to bring your morning cup of coffee to the next level. This isn’t your average logo mug.

-We went BIG, selecting a 15oz oversized mug.

-A mug with style and function, we landed on the latte style mug both for design aesthetic and functionality, it’s great for coffee, soup or late night ice cream!

-We chose quality product. This mug is solid, not only for durability to hold up well in the dishwasher and microwave but also because it insulates better keeping your coffee warmer.

-We thought through the experience, we wanted a curved lip on the top to give the smoothest drinking experience.

All of this came at a higher production cost but we knew it would be worth it, we wanted to put out the best possible mug we could. It’s not your average mug and is priced at $24.
