The gracious ownership of Smiley's has offered the BCC the use
of their facility for the Annual Memorial Day Event that is usually held in the Plaza, but this year, because of unforeseen problems,
was not able to be held there.

The Outdoor stage starting at 1:30pm

We are raising funds for the immediate needs of repairs to completely reopen The Community Center and recover some of the losses of income from classes and use of the Hall and Kitchen from it being shut down. Please donate as best you can, either online or at the Smiley's event. And please give your Thank You, to all those at Smiley's, who have stepped forward in the truest sense of CommUnity, in support of the Heart of Our CommUnity!!!

So now let's get down and have a celebration, party, and dance , enjoy the Joy and Bountiful Beauty
this most special of places on Earth !!!!!

Esta área será una zona de construcción para el

Proyecto de reemplazo de línea de alcantarillado realizado por Piazza Construction. No se permitirá el estacionamiento después de las 6:30 p. m. del martes, y todos los demás accesos no están permitidos desde las 8 a. m. del miércoles hasta las 5 p. m. del viernes, cuando se espera que el proyecto esté terminado.

El acceso a la Plaza, Peoples Store y el FoodBank será desde el otro lado del Centro Comunitario, el lado cercano a la antigua gasolinera BCLT. Por favor, viaje compartido o compartido durante el horario comercial,

Ya que el estacionamiento estará aún más restringido de lo habitual.

Este es un proyecto de emergencia para el BCC porque la antigua línea de alcantarillado colapsó o falló a finales de abril, y, trabajando con BCPUD y la oficina del Supervisor Rodoni, el BCC pudo traer a Piazza aquí lo más rápido posible. Gracias por su comprensión, y disculpe cualquier inconveniente.

ACCESS WILL BE CLOSED OFF

THROUGH FRIDAY 05/15/2026
This area will be a Construction Zone for the
Sewer line replacement project being done by Piazza Construction. Parking will not be allowed after 6:30 PM Tuesday, and all other access not allowed from 8 AM Wednesday through to 5 PM Friday when the project is expected to be finished.
Access to the Plaza, Peoples Store and the FoodBank will be from the other side of the Community Center, the side near the old BCLT Gas Station. Please ride share or carpool during business hours,
as parking will be even more restricted than usual.
This is an emergency project for the BCC because the old sewer line collapsed or failed at the end of April, and, working with BCPUD and Supervisor Rodoni’s office, the BCC was able to get Piazza in here as quickly as possible. Thank you for understanding, and sorry for any inconvenience.

THE “TARDY HEARTY Mardi Gras PARTY”
Returns to the Bolinas Community Center
FRIDAY MARCH 13TH
After not being able to gather because of Covid,
This fun event returns for our Community to
gather and join in celebration of Mardi Gras.
Of course this being Bolinas, we usually do it
Later than the traditional time when it is held
In other places like New Orleans and Brazil.
Dig deep in your closets and put together your
Costumes, find those dancing shoes, and come
have a joyous time with Community.
Parade at 5, starting in the Plaza
Doors at 5:30
Food and music at 6 starting with
Beth and Jacob
Then BOBO TEMPO at 7:30
Under 12 FREE, Seniors & Teens $5
Adults $10
This is a benefit for the Community Center,
and kicking off the 75th year celebration of
The BCC.
