This poster was a donation that I did for for a charity event to help raise money for Kimberly Zwegier and her sister Christi van Ravenhorst to get to the World Stage Beauty Pageant in China. The poster was commissioned for Beckham Bice whose favorite super hero is the Flash and who is a very special super hero to all of us!

These poster size(18inch x 24inch) graphite pencil drawings are where I draw from a person's photograph and create a costume, super hero powers and a super hero theme for the design of the poster. I usually work close with the client to allow them to be part of the creative process so that I can achieve that unique super hero they are wanting. These are linoleum prints that are hand done in the wood block style using linoleum flooring and printing ink. I start from using a photograph as a design and then glue the drawn design onto the linelum plate. I then use cutting tools of different gauges to cut into the plate. After finalizing the cut plate, I roll printing ink onto the plate. Paper for the print is applied and using either a spoon or my hand, I press the paper into the ink plate and then pull away to dry. Any picture that you would want produced can be done in this style and at however many prints to create your edition.
