We are so lucky to have talent & dance agent Shelli Margheritis!

Shelli has an extensive background spanning over 35 years within the entertainment industry as a professional dancer, keynote speaker, business entrepreneur, and three-time author of Making The Move, Brain Snacks, and Making It Werk. She brings a vast range of experience to her work in representing producers, directors, choreographers, musicians, educators, and dancers; and is the first agent in history to develop a teaching division within a talent agency. Shelli is currently a partner with Independent Artist Entertainment (IAE) representing Directors, Writers, Actors, Choreographers, Musicians, Dancers, and Educators from their bi-coastal offices and international partnerships. The world-renowned talent that IAE represents creates for feature film, television, music videos, tours, Broadway shows, corporate events, Las Vegas spectaculars, commercials, animation, and educational conventions. Shelli co-wrote the Commercial Dance BFA curriculum for Hussian College - In Studio LA (formerly Studio School), which is the first college in history to have a campus on a working film lot. She continues to teach as academic adjunct faculty for Hussian College and holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California. Recently, Shelli co-created IAE Academy; a 7-12 academic tailored online high school curriculum for the performing arts with a personalized, industry-facing experience, that gives career-oriented performing artists an advantage in achieving their goals as healthy, well-rounded professionals. Shelli is a true advocate for the Arts, a proud member of the Television Academy, judge for the Emmy’s and College Television Emmy’s, member of the International Documentary Association, prior Advisory Board member for the World Choreography Awards, member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, quoted within numerous published industry periodicals, and featured by the Americans for the Arts.
