Find inspiration and get creative at BAM during First Thursday today! Admission is “pay what you can,” and the Museum is open late, until 7 p.m., to encourage Access for All. Experience all of BAM’s current exhibitions, including “Common Threads: 100 Years of Quilts,” and “James Lavadour: Land of Origin.”

🎨 Drop in from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. and get creative in our FREE Studio Art Exploration program in BAM’s Education Studios. Create artwork focused on nature, inspired by “James Lavadour: Land of Origin.”

😎 Did you know: glasses for color blindness are available for BAM visitors?

EnChroma glasses make it possible for people with red-green color blindness to see an expanded range of clear, vibrant, distinct colors 🌈 and to enjoy enhanced detail and depth perception.

If you, or your child, are color blind, check out a pair, free of charge, during your visit.

Adult and Youth (ages 8-11) sizes are available. For Indoor use only.

Come make art together TOMORROW for Family Art Saturday! Join us on the last Saturday of each month, from noon – 3 p.m., and enjoy a creative activity for all ages. This month, drop in and create an artwork focused on nature, inspired by “James Lavadour: Land of Origin.”

FREE with the price of admission.

September is Healthy Aging Month. Did you know: art museum experiences have many positive health and well-being benefits for older adults? Visiting an art museum can boost creativity, memory, and mood, in addition to combating social isolation and providing a restorative place to explore and have fun.

Join us for our monthly Especially for Seniors day. This program, sponsored by Idaho Power, invites visitors 62 and older to enjoy free admission on the third Wednesday of each month. Visit BAM today from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
