Nyssa, Oregon We are bringing Off the Cuff to Rock Store tomorrow!

Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 6:30 sharp!

Write topics that comedians pull out of a bucket at random to try and come up with new material on the spot!

Unfortunately we will be down a man, due to Jack Wheeler having a very important real job that he can't just leave early.

I offered to call in a bomb threat or something for him but he said that probably wouldn't be chill.

While Jack will be missed, this show is still going to be a riot so make sure to get out there!

What is Off The Cuff?

We are a standup comedy show produced by & —two comedians based in the Northwest.

The show premise is that the audience writes down topics they’re interested in and comedians have to pull topics at random from a bucket and attempt to come up with entirely new material based on the topic. Hence, Off The Cuff.

Why is this show on 12/19/25 so special?

Well, has been a shining light in the Boise comedy scene for years now, it’s where the majority of people in our scene got started, did their first show, and really honed their skills over the last 5 years especially. I did my first paid gig at Mad Swede on Cole in May of ‘23.

Tyson started Off The Cuff at Mad Swede Downtown in July of ‘24 and it has been our home every 2nd or 3rd weekend since. But alas, all great empires fall, like the Ottoman or the Roman, Mad Swede is the latest empire to close its doors. Fortunately, is staying open and providing shelter to artists through the end of December, to savor the sweet taste of craft beers and comedy shows.

This show on December 19th will be Off The Cuff’s farewell to its birthplace, the final Riffmas in the Swede. It’s also Samson Large’s birthday. But that’s whatever. Get tickets and come out to celebrate with us as we close the Mad Swede era of Off The Cuff with a bang.
