What a way to end the Boise Phil 25/26 Season! This past weekend, we had the privilege of welcoming our incredibly talented guest pianist, Stewart Goodyear, who mesmerized the audience with his breathtaking performance of Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. The energy in the room was electric as the orchestra soared to new heights with Fountains of Rome and Pines of Rome, transporting us to the Eternal City.

We also took a moment to recognize and celebrate the dedication and commitment of our retiring musician, viola player and Langroise Trio member Dave Johnson, who has given over 20 years of his life to the Boise Phil. His contributions to our organization will never be forgotten! We also honored 12 years of incredible service from our retiring Patron Services Coordinator, Nickie Shell, whose tireless efforts have ensured that every patron has had an exceptional experience.

As we welcomed over 1,600 patrons into our beloved music hall, The Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every patron, musician, staff member, donor, and supporter who made this incredible season possible. Your enthusiasm, passion, and dedication have fueled our success, and we're forever grateful. We're already counting down the days until next season!

A season finale this grand deserves a soloist who is nothing short of a “phenomenon.” 🎹✨

We are thrilled to welcome Stewart Goodyear to the Morrison Center stage on May 16 & 17! Recognized as one of the most accomplished and visionary pianists of his generation, Stewart will be performing Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini—a piece that demands equal parts poetic grace and absolute technical wizardry.

Whether he’s composing new works or breathing fresh life into the greats, Stewart’s energy is infectious. You won’t want to be anywhere else when he joins Conductor Eric Garcia and the full orchestra to close out our 2025-26 season!

Be immersed in the shimmering grace and beauty of Respighi’s Fountains of Rome before being swallowed whole by Pines of Rome, the majestic finale to our 2025-26 season. 🎆
