Fandemonium

Fandemonium Idaho's Annual Entertainment Expo! Celebrating Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Anime, Gaming, Horror, Comics, Cosplay & More!

Fandemonium was founded in August of 2003 and had it's first convention in August of 2004. It's founding priorities were to unite the then lone fans and small existing fan communities and to help build stronger more interconnected fan communities in Idaho. By creating a safe place where Fans could come to socially interact and freely express who they are without judgement or persecution. With that

goal always in mind a great deal of Fandemonium's yearly events are focused on community building, social interaction, infotainment, teamwork, arts, crafts, & celebration of personal accomplishments. All of which are presented with an entertainment focus. Fandemonium plays hosts to numerous signature events each year, however it's primary entertainment content comes from Community Generated Content (CGC), events, panels & tournaments run by some of the very fans who attend Fandemonium. Fandemonium does this because it prides itself on being the convention for the fans, by the fans. It's not our job to tell you what you want, you know what you want. At Fandemonium we try to provide a place that allows you the freedom to be who you are, and grow and change your community in the way you want.

Hey everyone, for anyone who has been waiting on a reply from the [email protected] email address, I do apologize for the delay, I have been extremely sick for the past several days plus i have been having problems with my 10yr old laptop that I have been using for con for ages and ages now.
It decided it would do its best brick impression this last Monday, it was very convincing I must admit. :(
It took a few days but I got it up and working again and I am backing up all its important files right now.
The state of the laptop does not affect any of our online systems like registration, events, and such, so no worries there. Just made it really hard to access things I needed to answer peoples questions.
After the backups done I will do my best to get everyone's questions answered tonight and through tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.
Also please feel free to submit any events that any of you would like to run on the website. Our head programming specialist just had surgery and is a bit out of commission but I will be continuing to fill in for their programming duties until they have recovered enough to take it back over.
Lots of love to all of you. We are all hoping to make this one of the most unique and fun Fandemonium's ever and no matter what we will always fight for the future of our fan community.

Just a heads up to all the vendors I am processing all of your requests and sending out contracts and/or notifications of where you are on the wait list.
It is however taking a fair amount of time to get through them all but you should have what you need in just awhile. I'll be staying up most of the night to get them all done.
Lots of love to you all and hopefully this week had been treating you well.

ATTENTION: To all those interested in being vendors at Fandemonium 2017. We did a test of the vendors mailing list early this morning. Some of those in the test group got their e-mails right away, some got them later in the day and some are still waiting.
So the system works but due to the nature of both the internet and large mailing lists populating the announcement email across a wide number of email servers quickly is not feasible.
So in the interest of fairness as we want everyone to get an equal chance at trying to get a vendors table we will push the go live date to this Sunday Feb. 26th, 2017 at 6:00PM (MST)
I will send out the announcement to all interested potential vendors in just a bit and that should give enough time for all of you to receive it, I will also list a copy of the message on here to try to insure that as many of you receive it as possible.
Good luck to all of you, and thank you for being an amazing part of our community.
Once again if you have any questions please feel free to ask in this thread or email me at [email protected]

Here is the new corrected Vendor Hall layout with 8ft X 30in Banquet Tables. Vendor Spaces will go live for sale later this evening Fri. Feb. 24th, 2017.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask in this thread or e-mail, likewise if you wish to be added to the vendors contact list e-mail me at [email protected] and request to be added,
All Vendors spaces are still $40 for the space plus a $30 Vendors pass.
All vendors spaces are sold on a first come first served basis. The only exception to this are table spaces reserved for guests of honor & sponsors.

[UPDATES]
1. All systems have been tested and Registration, Event Submissions, Vendors Table Sales should all be going live by tomorrow evening at the latest.
2. I will send out a test mailing to our new vendors mailing list server to make sure its behaving and then once I verified people are receiving it I will open up vendors tables for sale.
3. Got some good and bad news, apparently when I not once but twice confirmed that vendors tables sizes were 6ft X 30in in size, I was apparently on receiving end of some of those pesky alternative facts.
As when I went in and physically measured them they are in reality 8ft X 30in, sadly the layout I posted was made before I measured due to limited time frame... so what does this mean for you if you want to be a vendor?
Well for this year at least you will be getting two extra feet of table space for the same $40.00 but there will be less table spaces available for sale. We have done our level best to fit in as many tables as possible while still complying with firecode.
Corrected layout will be posted tomorrow, which has 30 available spaces up for grabs. So not too shabby.
4. The websites content will be updated as quickly as possible over the weekend as it still contains a sizeable amount of info from the last convention year.
5. Guest of Honor announcements coming next week.
6. If you experience any problems with the website or with registering for a hotel room please let me know as soon as possible by e-mailing me at [email protected] or by contacting me on FB so that I may sort out any issues.

[Vendor Updates & Table Pricing]
Universal Vendors; Dealers and Artist will be combined into just one type of Universal Vendor.
This will lift the selling restrictions presently in place on Artists permitting them to sell only handmade items. All vendors will now be able to sell both hand made as well as manufactured items.
Table pricing, due to this change all table pricing will be reduced to a low unified rate. So everyone can get a table at the best rate possible.
Tables should go live for sale by the middle of next week. I will be sending out a test mailing from our vendors mass mailing list to make sure it is working 100% and then shortly there after I will be sending out notice to all vendors that tables are up for sale.
Table holds; As always we will not hold vendors tables in advance for anyone. They are sold on a first come first served basis to make it as fair as possible for Vendors to be able to have an equal opportunity get a table space. The only exception to this are table holds for Guests of Honor.
Vendors Passes; All vendors must purchase a $30 vendors pass w/ their table.
In the past Dealers tables came with some vendors passes included in their pricing, where as Artists had to buy a regular pass in advance before buying their table.
Now all tables can be purchased with a vendors pass included or if you already have an attendee pass the vendors table can be purchased wo/ buying a vendors pass as your attendee pass will be converted into a vendors pass.
So you no longer need to buy your pass before buying your table. Also if you need to buy more passes they are available to buy at the vendors pass rate of $30 though limits may apply.
You only need to buy one pass even if you are purchasing multiple tables.
Vendor Space Pricing: Table Only / Table with Pass;
Standard Vendor Booth (Qty=25): $40 / $70 ea.
Contents: One 6ft X 30in Banquet Table and Two Chairs.
L Shaped Vendors Booth's (qty=2): $80 / $110 ea.
Contents: Two 6ft X 30in Banquet Tables and Three Chairs
U - Shaped Vendors Booth's (qty=4): $120 / $150 ea.
Contents: Three 6ft X 30in Banquet Tables and Four Chairs.
If you have questions outside of that please ask them in this thread or email me at [email protected] and I will do my best to answer them.
