Boise Open Studios Collective (BOSCO) & The Idaho Songwriters Association (ISA)
are collaborating once again for “Art as Song, Song as Art – A Collaboration”
We are so excited to once again collaborate for the fourth year with our favorite artists with BOSCO. This year we will have the exhibit and the performance event all under the same roof:
Cinder Wines, 107 E 44th St, Garden City, ID 83714.
The way the collaboration works is each participating artist receives an original song from an ISA member to inspire a new artwork and each participating songwriter receives an original artwork to inspire a new song. Then, we have an exhibition of the artwork with wall tags that give information about the artist, the songwriter plus the lyrics for the song and a QR Code that allows the viewer to listen to the song as they view the artwork. We also have a performance event where the songwriter performs a song with the artwork projected behind the songwriter.
What we need from you right now is an original song that will be given to a BOSCO artist.

May 5, 2026: Request for Submissions
June 5, 2026: Application and Images and Recordings and Lyrics deadline
June 9: Inspiration Day!
TBD: Mingle
September 20, 2026: MP3 file recordings and Lyrics of new songs and artwork images due.
October 13, 2026: Artwork delivered to Cinder Wine; Show Hung
October 27: Art As Song Performance Event and exhibit at Cinder Wine
December 28: Show ends.
