Horseback riding has been such a model of progress-making for me.

It is the days when I realize how much more I have to learn that are the hardest and the most generous. I can see how far I’ve come, and how far there is to go, and that’s a great place to be!

Somewhere in the middle, in the in-between, which really is where life exists for all of us.

Enjoy the journey, and keep showing up for yourself in whatever passion or discipline calls to you.

Focus on progress, not imperfection.

Daaaang, it's been a while since The Empty Boat Theatre Company has moved a muscle... it's just been chillin', layin' low, losin' flesh by the foot. Still has great hair, though. Maybe Nick Garcia will make something new & cool in 2024???

Only three more shows left! We SO lucked out with our incredible cast and crew for There's Chinese Tunnels Under Boise! These folks are the absolute best people around, and we love every minute we get to spend with them on this show. Chaz Gentry knows how to light up a room—literally and figuratively. He is a bright, shining force in our film, dance and theater communities, and we are SO lucky to have him on board as our lighting designer for There's Chinese Tunnels Under Boise! Seriously, if you need light, Chaz is your man. Because he is a pro at what he does, and because he is so cool to have around. We heart Chaz.

So, we have some extremely amazing individuals helping us with There's Chinese Tunnels Under Boise! that we'd like to acknowledge, the first of which is Wendy Fox () who we happen to think of as a superstar. Wendy is our costume + props designer and she turns this show into spot-on 1987 period-piece glory. This woman works hard and always amazes us—she's truly a dream to have on our team. She's also a DJ for Radio Boise KRBX 89.9 FM; check out her show, Tennis Court Disco, from 5-7 pm on Saturdays. We love you, lady. :)
