NEWEST MEMBER OF THE TEAM!: As she hasn't picked out a dance name yet, you can call her any of the following names: Princess Merida, the Horse Whisperer, or simply BAD-ASS-SUPER-STAR!!!

She began her dancing journey at a very young age when she displayed an extreme propensity for the art of motion. This turned out to be just an average case of “the wiggles” with which many young children are afflicted, but in this case it came in pretty handy later in her life. Fast forward a bit, to a time when seven years of dancing with Irish Dance Idaho and a handful of ballroom classes finally led her to learn the belly dance basics from Sidonia Om Dunia. She knew from that moment on the wiggles would never be the same again.

She had the absolute pleasure of learning Unmata’s ITS style at Hot Pot Studio while living in Sacramento and dancing some of Hot Pot’s unique fusion choreographies at the 2011 Blood Moon Regale and the April Spring Show in 2012. She had the tremendous fortune of meeting Araxie Nanshe upon moving back to Boise in mid-2012, and is thrilled to continue her belly dancing journey in collaboration with ::ColdxFusion::!

Solo from the after party at Blood Moon. This piece was choreographed as a group piece with 4 other belly dancers for Fusion Fest's Hybrid Competition in June of 2011 in Boise, Id. It was transformed from a group piece, with ripples, to a solo for this event. This was my first official solo. I messed up on a couple of my favorite parts, but if you don't know the dance you can't tell that much, so thankfully I recovered well....was nervous as hell. After watching the video, there will be some slight changes, with more to learn for being a beginning soloist. :*}

Axis and I performing at the pre-party fire show at Blood Moon. I taught Axis the dance in a week, last minute change from a new choreography we were working on. For those of you at Fusion Fest, I simply replaced Akasha's spot. Was originally supposed to be danced with Axis, so it came full circle. Think we did pretty good for practicing in the amount of time we had. It was my first time performing next to fire (apart from the 3ishx in practice)...man, was it much hotter...I have a slight anxiety about dancing so close to it, but hopefully will get more comfortable as time goes by. Oh, and don't make fun of my spins, lol, I know, I know... :*}

First official performance by ::COLDxFUZION::, first choreography by Araxie Nanshe, and first performance ever for Axis....and we won 2nd place! Performed at Cairo Fusion's Fusion Fest at the Hybrid Competition in Boise, Id during the summer of 210. Song is "Book of the Month" by Lovage.

My my, been busy ever since Blood Moon, haven't had the opportunity to post anything. Blood Moon was AWESOME!!! As Axis and I were looking for parking once we arrived in Sacramento, a black cat crossed our paths. Normally this would be a bad sign, but beings how this year's Blood Moon theme was Superstition, we knew it was a good omen to kick off the fire show. The main event was super fantastic, with Heather Shoopman and Mandala Danceworks being goosebumps worthy, Soul Fire bringing it, and UNMATA being a wonderful seamless mini-movie. Also loved the Hot Pot's mustaches! After was a super great after party: mesmerizing Dahlia, always a joy to watch, and April Rose, simply phenomenal. And I have only mentioned a few, all the pieces brought something special! Special thanks to Unmata Sigil and Shelly Unmata for having us, to UNMATA girls for being so welcoming, to Samantha C. Alamity for being so kind as to film our fire show piece, and also to Sam, Shoop, and Cecilia Rinn for motivating me to solo. Love you guys! Videos soon to come.

We have some exciting news! ::COLDxFUZION:: will be performing in the fire show AND in the after party of....wait for it.....BLOOD MOON!! That's right, that means Axis has returned and we are busy working on choreography and costuming! We are so grateful and honored to be apart of this wonderful bad ass event again this year! If anyone would like to ride with us down, please let us know, we would love to have you!!
