“Almost in Love” is my tribute to the late, great Freddy Cole—a master vocalist, a gentleman of jazz, and a mentor whose wisdom and artistry continue to inspire me. 🎤🎶

Freddy carried forward a remarkable legacy while creating a sound and style all his own. Through this song and every performance, I honor his influence and the rich tradition of Black jazz artists who have kept The Great American Songbook alive for generations.

I’m grateful to share this music with audiences across the U.S. and Europe on my Memories Unleashed Tour. I hope to see you along the way. 💙

I’m excited to bring my theatrical jazz concert version of Memories Unleashed to North Coast Rep in San Diego on June 8th! 🎶 The story of me and my father living with Alzheimer’s disease woven together by classic songs from The Great American Songbook!

Returning to North Coast Rep feels especially meaningful. I’ve had the privilege of appearing there as the Sheriff in Desperate Measures and as the Blues Singer in Blues in the Night, two experiences that remain among my favorite theatrical memories. North Coast Rep has always felt like an artistic home, where storytelling, music, and exceptional craftsmanship come together in a truly special way. 👏🏾

I have tremendous admiration for the entire North Coast Repertory Theatre family and am especially grateful for the opportunity to work with Artistic Director David Ellenstein, whose vision, passion, and dedication to excellence make every project inspiring. The warmth of the audiences, the caliber of the artists, and the spirit of collaboration at North Coast Rep are unlike anywhere else.

I can’t wait to share Memories Unleashed with San Diego audiences and celebrate an evening of music, stories, laughter, and reflection together.💙

This isn’t just a concert—it’s a heartfelt musical journey inspired by my album Memories Unleashed, sharing the story of my father’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease and the lessons of love, faith, family, and resilience that continue to inspire me every day. 🙏🏾

Through timeless classics, vintage R&B, soulful jazz, and blues-infused arrangements, we’ll celebrate the memories that shape our lives and the music that keeps them alive.
