On All Hallows Eve a spooky ghost finds the beginning of a fantastical mushroom forest 🍄 my first acrylic painting fully from imagination. I created this specifically for a Halloween art show I took part in this past Friday and it was a lovely time. I'm so happy with the end product 🥰

Here is the entire canvas from the 30 day painting challenge! I stuck it out till the end and I'm glad I did! Lots of practice under my belt now ☺

I've been quiet but still making art! This month I've been participating in a daily painting challenge and these are the first 9 paintings, all painted from life.

I have a canvas divided into 30 small squares, and at the end it'll be all filled out with mini paintings ☺️

Damp gloomy days bring unique treasures 🍄

I feel like I've accidentally set myself a high bar on just my third or fourth painting. I'm really pleased with how this turned out! I used my own photograph I took a few years ago as a reference and otherwise took inspiration from Dutch style still life paintings.

I'm learning that it's hard to properly photograph a shiny painting, but I'll get better at it
