Because everyone deserves a little sparkle and a whole lotta shimmy! Whether you're stage-curious or already practicing, all are welcome. Each week is themed, fabulous, and full of juicy tips from seasoned performers. An optional student showcase May 17th for students who want to hit the stage!

Ready to create your own act but not sure where to start? This workshop breaks down the art of burlesque choreography into simple, effective tools you can actually use.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:✨
• Build a routine that flows with ease
• Use transitional movements to connect your moments seamlessly
• Structure your act for maximum impact
• Choreograph quickly without feeling overwhelmed
• Turn simple movement into confident, intentional performance

We’ll explore musicality, stage presence, and storytelling while creating short movement phrases you can use in your own routines.

Perfect for beginners, developing performers, or anyone looking to refine their creative process. No choreography experience required.

The Femme Daddy of The City of Trees, M**f Jones is a Boise,ID based performance artist, educator, designer, and producer. Founder of Femme Von Follies, Tease Academy,Sunday Night Burlesque, Queerly Arts Festival, and co-founder of Make ‘em Blush Burlesque (2020 & 2024 2nd place Boise’s Best Performance Art). M**f has been awarded “Most Magical” at The Great Burlesque Expo (MA/2023), Idaho’s Best Worst & Weirdest Comedians 2023, “Master of Nerdlesque’’ and “Master of Assels’’ at The Colorado 2020 BurlyPics Solid Gold Regionals and has been a feature performer at the Midwest Burlesque Festival (OH/2023), Carnival De Sensual (CO/2022) and at Artfort during Treefort Music Festival (ID/2025) .

M**f has taught Burlesque locally at Ascension Pole and Dance, Be Studio’s and Akasha Moves Studios. M**f has also taught at the Kansas City Nerdlesque festival, Midwest Nerdlesque Festival, The Great Burlesque Expo, and accepted to teach at the Utah Burlesque Festival. M**f Jones is a licensed liquid motion and heels instructor.

Flying in from the city of angels, Lady October has been performing for 4 years here in Boise. Blending a love for horror and pop culture, she lives out her final girl fantasy on stage. She is the producer of Glitter and Ghouls Productions, bringing high concept ideas to life every quarter.

Making audiences laugh, cheer, and “ewww” for over two decades, Kate E. Gaga is a force to be reckoned with. With an extensive background in physiology, somatic studies, and an insatiable urge to keep learning, Kate uses their Master of Education to teach adults how to strip, strut, and roll around on the floor with style.

Holder of multiple national pole dance medals, 1st runner-up in BNDS Monsters, and 2nd runner-up in BNDS All-Stars, Kate’s happy place is teaching fellow performers to put their best buttcheek forward any time they step on stage.

Performing since 2020, Selma Sapphire has set stages ablaze with costume trickery that rivals magic and dazzling embellishments that have deemed her the “Sparkliest Gem of the Gem State.” With an emphasis on costuming in her burlesque, she has been known to make unconventional costumes, such as a large wearable Krabby Patty, to classic burlesque showstoppers. Selma is the proud winner of Boise’s Burlesque Showperson Competition All Stars 2024 and Emre winner for Best Classic Burlesque 2024. She is also co-producer of Two Scoops Productions.✨

Selma will be teaching costume tips & trickery November 6th as a part of our winter burlesque series!
