I finally was able to find the time to record a little behind the scenes of my framing process. There’s certainly more that goes into it like the gluing and prepping foam core pieces, but I wasn’t able to get that granular this time 🌞

DISCLAIMER: I’m not by any means a professional framer, this is just what works for me at the moment but I’m always growing and honing my process, so if there are any more experienced artists/framers out there that’d like to lend advice on anything I could be doing better, I’m all ears!💛

I hope this answers some of your questions and overall is just fun to see what things look like when a collector places an order.

July 10 - telling a story, one mark at a time

Oil pastel on raw cotton canvas
Framed in an 8×10 wood + glass shadow box
Ships worldwide from the USA ✈️

This piece is part of my daily series, Presence Over Permanence, a series created to remind us of the beauty found in fleeting moments.

The most extraordinary parts of life are rarely the ones we can hold onto. Morning light across the kitchen floor. A season that changes without asking. The familiar rhythm of a home that will one day look different. Their impermanence is what makes them sacred.

I don’t paint to preserve a moment. I paint to honor it.

My hope is that each of my paintings become more than artwork on a wall, but a gentle invitation to linger, to notice, and to return to the life unfolding in front of you.

For the collector who believes that art should not only transform a space, but also the way we move through it, welcome. I’m so happy you’re here. 🌞

Every work I create belongs to my ongoing series, Presence Over Permanence, a series encapsulating the beauty found in fleeting moments.

July 7 ♥️

This piece kicks off the July Collection which will arrive July 31st at 6pm MDT (I’m trying out releasing the works in the evening instead of morning this time since the middle of work days can be tough for collecting pieces!)

This collection will reimagine the classic floral still life through abstract forms and softly layered, earth-toned color, balancing simplicity with quiet emotion. Each oil pastel painting from this collection will be a gentle invitation to slow down, bringing warmth, romance, and a sense of home to your space.

Today is the day! 🌞June Collection arrives 8a MST for email subscribers, 12p MST open access. See you there, lovelies! 💌

This painting is a part of my daily series “presence over permanence” where I create works every day as a reminder to stay present right where we are. 🌞

As most of the best things in life (think spring blossoms, our kiddos being young, or the best sandwich you’ve ever had) are fleeting, we can choose to be sad that it won’t last forever, or soak it in while it lasts and be so grateful we did. The choice is yours! 🫶🏼

If a specific painting speaks to you, I invite you to collect it as a reminder to be right here, right now. 🌸
