Vintage Christmas Tree Glazing Workshop

THREE DATES TO CHOOSE FROM:
Sunday 11/1 @ 2pm
Friday 11/13 @ 6pm
Saturday 11/21 @ 10am

Cost: $89 per person (includes tree and all supplies)
Complimentary coffee, cocoa and cookies

Tis the season for our beloved Vintage Christmas Trees to make their stunning appearance again!
In this workshop, you will glaze our Supreme Christmas Tree which stands approximately 14 inches tall with its base. Our instructor will help you choose glaze colors that fit your seasonal palette and guide you through glazing your tree with ease.

After glazing your tree, you will leave your tree with us to be fired in our kiln. Each tree comes with a multi-colored light kit. If you prefer a different set of lights, we offer additional color combinations for sale in studio.

This workshop is being offered three different times and registration guarantees a tree will be reserved for you. However, if you cannot attend one of the workshops, we do carry a variety of Christmas trees in our studio and you can come in for Open Studio to glaze at your own leisure. Open Studio inventory is first come, first serve.

So if you would like to lock in your tree and guarantee a festive fun time, grab your friends and reserve your seats!

"If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader." --Dolly Parton. We are so deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton. Her life has always been a great inspiration to us at Twisted Moon Studios, especially for our sweet Mattingly. At the studio we have always channeled our inner Dolly. Her spirit and energy have always been a guide stone for us to show those in our little corner of the world how capable they are, how they can try hard things and how they deserve to take time for their own well being. We have hosted Dolly themed parties. We have watched 100s of butterflies flutter out of our studio. We have watched people smile a little bigger, walk a little taller and love themselves a little harder because Dolly's way of life filled our walls. So enjoy a few of the butterflies from our studio as we honor and remember Dolly Parton. May we all be a diamond in a rhinestone world.

90's Retro Day at Twisted Moon Studios

Hey Gen X--Remember those boomboxes, trapper keepers, polaroid cameras, jelly shoes, and scrunchies?

Well, we are taking our Delorean back to the 90's for a day of flashback painting. Capture those neon Lisa Frank motifs onto your favorite mug or plate. Or paint a ceramic troll just like the one you glued to your broken soccer trophy. The day is gonna be da bomb!

Share the dealio with the kiddos of the good old days when group chats were in the front yard and Life 360 meant don't go past the cul-de-sac or be home when the streetlight comes on. Your stories will pair great with our retro themed canvas options for all ages.

And while you are strolling down memory lane with your Gameboy and Walkman, let MJ, Brittany and Alanis get your soul rockin' with our studio jams.

So grab your squad and come on down to Twisted Moon Studios as we skate our way back to the 90s where your side ponytail and the playground slide were both fire!

Hand Built Mugs + Wheel Thrown Pour Bowl

You can do more than you think you can--and this includes building your own mug from clay! In this workshop, you will learn step by step how to build your very own mug using slab and hand building techniques. A variety of tools will be available to add textures and special details, and an instructor will help you craft the perfect handle for your mug

But wait!
It gets even better...You will also get to take a pottery wheel for a spin. As a bonus, you will have the opportunity to throw on the wheel to create a small pour bowl to accompany your mug.

After creating, your pieces will stay at the studio to dry and go through their bisque firing. Once they’re ready, you’ll return at your convenience for a second creative session to glaze your work in any colors or styles you love. It’s a wonderful way to begin your homemade holiday gift‑making or craft something special for your own home.

Cost: $55 per person
