Every step forward matters.

April 11. Parkinson's Moving Day brought families and friends to University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Walkers crossed under the arch. Streamers lined the path. The lawn filled with people who came for someone they love.

I handled music and the stage so announcements stayed clear and the day kept its pace.

1600 people in a convention center is a different kind of night.

Sound has to cover the room without frying the front row.
Lighting has to make the space feel finished.
Power has to hold mics, speakers, and lights when the floor fills.

Before the first walk-in track, we map the room, lock circuits with the venue, set distro, align the PA, and put the team on clear roles.

Guests do not clap for cable paths.
They notice when speeches stay clear and the energy never drops for the wrong reason.

They thanked me for entertaining and engaging with their guests, and for staying true to the craft.

My job is simple on paper and deep in practice: keep the room together, protect the energy of the night, and make sure every person there feels the celebration.
