Exploring new idea for a series combining my clay sculpture with collage/mixed media to tell a story. Working on this collage with a poem except by HW Longfellow above maps of the old USSR and Ukraine. Not finished but hoping this eventually finds it way onto a sculpture piece.

Finding a Monarch Waystation today on my walk with beautiful Monarchs seemed appropriate....We lost Brandon 20 years ago today...We released Monarchs on the day we said good bye...they return every year...his spirit rides those wings

Happy Monday! Here's a little prickly pear in the sun to brighten up your day. This a a 48" x 60" acrylic piece from Thom Ricks titled "Cactus Van Gogh."
