This 8-year-old recreational dancer was working on her arabesque for the very first time today! 👏👏👏

In the second video, you’ll see how a simple coup de pied exercise trains the feet to avoid sickling - resulting in an ideal arabesque line with a beautifully winged foot and turned out thigh.

Every preparation matters. Intentional, focused training is key for developing strong, healthy technique, especially in young dancers. 👯

Yesterday was a very special milestone - our first recital at Aria Dance Academy. ✨

I am so incredibly proud of our dancers. You all performed beautifully and with so much joy! Watching you on stage was unforgettable - a very proud moment!

Thank you again to our amazing families and instructors for your support. This is just the beginning!

🩰 This is 45 minutes of ballet a week - age 5/6 - first year.

✨ When attention to detail is instilled from day one, and classes are age appropriate and fun - here’s the result!

☑️ Pulled-up legs. Articulated feet. Turnout rotating from the hips. Supported port de bras. Movement initiated from breath. Beautiful presence!

💕 It starts at the beginning, when habits are formed, and instruction matters:)
