First up, just in time for Halloween: his loving send-up of the classic monster movies, starring Gene Wilder, Marty Feldman, Madeline Kahn, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, and Peter Boyle as a monster with surprisingly fancy footwork.

Remembering October 7

Three years later, we pause to remember the innocent lives lost and the families shattered, and we hold space for all who are still healing. In our sorrow, we are reminded of the strength of the human spirit and of our shared hope for enduring peace for all.

Am Yisrael Chai.

A dad breakdancing at his twins' b'nei mitzvah. A boat trip where passengers grill strangers on who's Jewish.

Stories like these fill "On Being Jewish Now," the bestselling anthology edited by Zibby Owens. Join us at B'nai Torah Congregation as The Braid, the Los Angeles Jewish story company, brings the book to the stage in commemoration of October 7.

In The Braid's signature storytelling style, professional actors perform the writers' own words, with moments of humor, hope, heartbreak, and resilience.
