Another Open Studio is coming up on Saturday, September 12th!
We’ll be making cards and sealing them with wax to give to our loved ones on Grandparents Day. Stop by the studio any time between 11:00-2:00 and leave with a beautifully sealed card!

Children don’t need to memorize a list of names and dates to begin appreciating art.

They need to be invited to look closely, wonder, notice, and discuss.

In Noteworthy Society, I want art to feel like something children can interact with, not just something they are told is important.

We introduce the artist and the story behind the work, but then the children have a chance to observe and respond:
What do you notice? What colors stand out the most? How does it make you feel?

We find that a cup of tea aids the observation process 😊

We’re celebrating the start of a brand-new season of our Pastime Parlor classes with something extra fun!

One local winner will receive a Little People Collector American Girl set!

And there’s more happening at Pastime Parlor this fall. 🍂 Instead of committing to a full session, families can purchase a 2, 4, or 6 class pass and choose the dates and adventures that work best for their schedule.

Each gathering features a different historical character with crafts, history, games, traditions, and plenty of old-fashioned fun. Girls will also receive their own Pastime Passport and collect a special sticker at every class they attend. 📖✨
