This fall, May River Theatre is about stepping into the laughter! Starting with the opening of The Savannah Sipping Society in just a short 2 1/2 weeks. Following this warm and hilarious comedy about new friends is the delightfully outrageous musical, Young Frankenstein, which opens on October 30th. We can't imagine a better way for you to spend your Halloween weekend! And the laughter doesn’t stop there! We’re welcoming Ghosted: A Haunted Improv back to the MRT stage in both September and December. From Southern wit to musical mayhem to completely unscripted comedy, our fall season is a chance to come together, leave the everyday behind, and simply enjoy a great night of theatre.

Next up in our character introductions is Randa!

Smart, accomplished, and always in control, or at least she used to be, Randa is a high-powered career woman whose carefully ordered life is turned upside down when she unexpectedly loses her job. Suddenly faced with an identity crisis and no idea what comes next, she finds herself wondering if there might be more to life than deadlines, meetings, and climbing the corporate ladder.

As new friendships form and the drinks begin to flow, Randa loosens her grip on the life she thought she was supposed to have and discovers that starting over might just be the opportunity she never knew she needed.
