Art has a funny way of teaching us to let go. 💙✨

If you've ever taken one of my classes, you've probably heard me say, "We're not here for perfection, we're here to have fun and create." Sometimes I need that reminder just as much as my students do.

This piece didn't turn out exactly how I envisioned it, but that's the beauty of creating. Every layer tells a story, and every painting has its own personality. The rich blues, bright whites, shimmering golds, and textured finish make this a one-of-a-kind original.

One of my favorite things about being an artist is that the pieces I'm unsure about often become someone else's favorite. Art is personal, and everyone sees something different.

This morning I went to Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio and painted with a few residents! I didn't get a chance to take anymore pictures of their beautiful creations. What a blessing it is to be able to go out in the community and spread creativity and spend quality time with people.

They're here!!!
What does this mean???

These passports are FREE! Go to the participating businesses and spend at least $10 at each location to get a "stamp", collect as many stamps as possible, and be entered in a drawing to win a grand prize!

So, how does this work with Bluffton Art Co??? Since I don't have a physical location anymore, all you have to do to get your stamp is pretty similar! Spend at least $10! This can be spent at any event or physical item I sell! Pretty simple 👌

🇺🇸 Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it’s a time to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day.

Join us on June 24 at the Bluffton Public Library for an evening of creativity, community, and learning as we paint a patriotic canvas and learn the Pledge of Allegiance in American Sign Language while our paintings dry. ❤️🤍💙
