After two months of painting, sanding, building, jumping through hoops of fire, unpacking, rearranging, second-guessing, rearranging again, and discovering that yarn somehow reproduces when left unsupervised, Low Country Shrimp & Knits is officially settled into its new home at 10 Kitties Landing Road, Suite G!
The new space has more room to spread out, comfy couches for stitching, plenty of places to gather with friends, and enough yarn to ensure that "just one more skein" remains a completely reasonable life philosophy. Everything is finally unpacked... or at least hidden well enough that I'm calling it unpacked. Now comes the exciting game of figuring out where I put things and whether I'll ever find them again.
Come see the new space, help us break it in, and admire the fact that somehow this entire move happened without me ending up trapped beneath a mountain of merino.
To celebrate, we're throwing a completely official, highly prestigious, absolutely-not-recognized-by-any-government Fake Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Opening Day Party tomorrow, June 20th, from 11am-2pm.
There will be yarn.
There will be coffee from One More Row Coffee Co.
There will be snacks.
There may be a ribbon.
There will definitely be scissors.
There will be laughter - because that's how we roll.
There may be a pirate.
