FO Friday is full today!

First, we have 2 finished Cloudbreak Tees from our latest Knit Along that just finished up last week. Want to join our next Knit Along? We only have 1 slot left on Fridays and 1 on Sundays starting in September!

Our last 2 FOs are by a couple of our regular drop-in Open Knit crew.
Arlene has been working on this vest for a while and got it finished in time to wear it this fall!

You can chain. You can single crochet. You can double crochet. You have officially moved beyond “What do I do with this hook?”

Now it’s time to level up at Low Country Shrimp and Knits.

Join Marco Martinez for our Make a Granny Square Blanket by the Holidays Crochet Along, designed for crocheters who know the basics and are ready to learn what else that hook can do.

Every other Sunday, Marco will teach you a brand-new granny square, and each one will introduce new stitches, techniques, textures, and construction skills. The squares get progressively more interesting as your skills grow, so you’re not just making a blanket. You’re becoming a much better crocheter while you do it.

Make four of each square between sessions and watch your pile grow all fall until suddenly…

MARKET BAG KNIT ALONG with Low Country Shrimp and Knits and Freckled Frog Yarn!

You could buy a reusable market bag.

But then no one gets to say, “WAIT. YOU MADE THAT?!”

Join Tammy, owner of Freckled Frog Yarns, for a two-session Knit Along where we’ll make this gorgeous mosaic market bag using her hand-dyed Squish yarn. You’ll learn slip-stitch mosaic knitting, picking up stitches, working in the round, and all the little finishing tricks that turn I knitted a bag into LOOK AT MY BAG.

And yes, it’s technically a market bag. Groceries can go in it.

So can yarn.
